I am a Resident in Counseling and received my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in trauma from Grand Canyon University. I have experience working in the social work field, working with the homeless population for 2-3 years. I then decided to start my career in the counseling field, to continue working with demographics that need it most. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I use a person-centered approach with my clients while incorporating cognitive-behavioral therapy, play therapy, eye movement integration therapy, and solution focused therapy. Meeting my clients where they are and creating a safe place for them to be themselves is important to me. I also have experience working with the LGBTQIA community and continue to work with persons of all multicultural backgrounds
In my free time I am a single mom who enjoys reading, playing video games, or doing diamond art.
