Resident in Counseling // Master of Science in Education

Child & Adolescent Therapist

I am an empathetic Resident in Counseling with experience in various environments. I have worked with children ages 4-17 in an intensive in-home setting and as a school counselor. As a counselor, I have worked with many children who are experiencing large amounts of trauma at a very young age and can see the impact it has on them. I use a person-centered approach with all of my clients while incorporating cognitive-behavioral therapy, play-based techniques, and solution-focused therapy. As a result of my experience, I see the importance of working at a client’s pace in order for the client to feel valued and safe around me. Thus, I am willing to provide a safe and comfortable environment for all clients, no matter their race, ethnicity, disability, sexuality, etc. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, listening to true crime podcasts, spending time with my friends and family, and watching drama and sci-fi shows.
