Kayleigh Martinez-Bell, MS

Resident in Counseling

Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling

I believe that every person has a story worth hearing and that there is something meaningful, hopeful, and exciting to discover in every individual I have the opportunity to work with. My approach to counseling is rooted in humanistic and person-centered principles, with a strong belief in client autonomy, individuality, and the importance of feeling genuinely heard. I want to create a space where clients feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to be vulnerable, and empowered to make choices about their own lives.

I am passionate about working with individuals across all stages of life and believe that counseling should meet each client where they are. Whether someone is navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationships, personal growth, or simply trying to understand themselves a little better, my goal is to offer support in whatever capacity is most helpful to that individual. I believe counseling is a collaborative process, and while I will always respect my clients’ autonomy, I also value the importance of healthy boundaries, honesty, and creating a therapeutic relationship built on trust.

Outside of counseling, I am married and a proud mom to a sweet one-year-old. My family and I enjoy listening to music, trying new restaurants, watching football, and spending time together at the park. I believe that life is made up of both the difficult moments and the little moments of joy, and I try to bring that same perspective into my work with every client.
